I'm not that type of person... Oh yes you are.

We all have that friend who never really has any issues with anything, is always down for a good time, goes to the gym but doesn’t go all in & just goes through life’s motions… This is the human I have known Sam to be for a long time. Yet in most cases a person changes from either inspiration, opportunity or struggle. This journey was grown through the struggle of being so “chill” that life was getting ahead, he was getting behind & there was an internal feeling of maybe I could be more...
When you see a life change so drastically in many ways, from:
Going to the gym for years, to now consciously going to the gym seeing rapid growth/ progressions
Minimal movement, to now PB distance running/ time, daily walks, often threshold pushing actions
From lacking self belief, to now doubling down hard on his goals, wants & future progressions
Vaping, not caring & eating whatever, to now a love of feeling the body with whole foods, making self respect choices & showing up
Sitting in the zone of comfort, to now taking needed risks, hitting new PB’s & just seeing what is possible
Wanting the now & easy, to now showing up for his future self in every way
You really begin to question what’s possible for every other human. Don’t get me wrong, these journey’s of rewiring life long habits, new thought pathways, new perspectives & self understanding do not happen over night… They are the result of many weeks, many efforts, plenty of discomfort, a tonne of communications, plenty of conversations, deep diving exploration & being open to all types of feedback, but like the saying goes;
“Hard is unavoidable & you will always experience it… you may as well choose the experience of hard that changes your life”.
It’s not what you do it’s why you do it, it’s future self, it’s real change for real change, it’s being who you know inside you can be.
